Graduation Ceremony

Graduation day brings with it a roller coaster of emotions for the graduates and their families alike. It’s a time of celebration and achievement. There is reflection on past trials and successes as well as hope for the future.

The 2018 Graduation Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 22 at Dr. Kamil AlRayes Auditorium. We encourage all students to take the opportunity to formally graduate and participate in this annual event that is the highlight of our academic year.

Graduation is not the end, it is the beginning. Congratulations to all graduates !!

Grade5 PYP Exhibition

Grade 5 Exhibition is based on the United Nations 17 sustainable development goals. Our group is focusing on the seventh goal - affordable and clean energy, and our action is based on the sustainability of the Earth. We are trying to change the way we do things here at AIS. AIS uses a lot of polystyrene foam board for presentations. At the same time we noticed that the school discards a lot of cardboard, especially coming from the book storage room. Producing, shipping, purchasing and using polystyrene creates a large carbon footprint, however using and reusing cardboard uses much less energy. Instead of throwing it out, we can reuse it. Also, polystyrene is not biodegradable, and cardboard is, therefore reusing cardboard from the storeroom contributes to a sustainable world. Can you please stop

Using, and encourage your students to stop using,  polystyrene for presentations and start using cardboard.

Water & Bubble Day Pre K, Grade 1 & 2

Elementary school is a crucial time for your child’s development. Children develop time-management skills, build self-esteem, and practice goal-setting. AIS ensures that our students have the time to learn inside and outside the classroom. We encourage our students to participate in activities outside of the classroom, and give them a route to make new friends, develop new interests, and deepen their social and intellectual growth.

Water day is a yearly event that is organized by teachers and staff, and it's a day where students gather up to play fun water games. Enjoy your day students and have fun!
